| SOMETIMES CITY is an online journal of poetics
and art inspired by the work of d.a. levy. It is a place where exceptional
poets and artists are showcased, a place where their work can be seen and
heard. SOMETIMES CITY's first issue found its way online in May 2001, with co-founders and co-editors kris t kahn and marina buckler at the helm. After a brief or not-so-brief hiatus, the journal returned with kris t kahn as full-time Editor-in-Chief. Since its web debut, SOMETIMES CITY has seen the first-time publication of many talented and emerging poets; in addition, we have also had the privilege of publishing the works of such poets as Frank Matagrano, Rebecca Lu Kiernan, and Erin Elizabeth, among others. Within months of the publication of SOMETIMES CITY's premiere issue, the journal became an affiliate of the Sundress Publications group, nestling itself beside the well-known journals Stirring and Samsara Quarterly. We are sorry to say that the journal has since suspended publication due to editorial time constraints. In the future, we may possibly be back; for now, we are not sure. Thanks to those who have contributed and also to those who have read us and followed us for the past two+ years. We are quite grateful to you and also in debt to your support. The archives are still in place for your convenience. |
